You And I

by Hurtingsoul   May 14, 2011

You and I
Me and you
I lie
But you tell the truth

Lips on lips
Tentative kisses
Hands on hips
Silent hisses

On your back
On top of you
Losing track
Falling on cue

Night is falling
Sun is rising
He is calling
It isn't surprising

You and I
Me and you
I lie
But you tell the truth

I'm leaving you
I'm seeing him
You hate the truth
Adultery is sin

On your knees
Silent you look
I'm thinking
Can't leave him for you

Sorry is hard
But you knew
I'm the wild card
We were doomed

You and I
Me and you
I lie
But you tell the truth

This really is an excellent piece! All those views and not one of the lazy blighters has bothered to give this a rating! lol
It's funny, I read the footnote about it being a song and wasn't surprised at all - it has that kind of rhythm that I can imagine being put to instruments.
Adultery may or may not be a sin, but at least you're honest about it here!

    Great write,
