Your words just storm the reader with emotions and feelings. I loved the choice of words in this poem, especially the first few lines, they draw a really strong image of what you are trying to say ..

Then in the second part of it, you show the reader that hope is still there, and if you believe then you can change anything ..

    Great job Nidal

Man this poem is very well drawn ... I can see the picture ... It is all portrayed in your words. Reading this one was not less descriptive than what we daily see in the news ... and not less emotional than what we would feel from a well drawn portray.

Rabea asked me to read this and I'm glad he did. This is an excellent poem.

*With searing love emanates from her eyes.
And with a defiant voice of angelic thunder shaking the essence of the enemy.*

That was my favorite part. I really admored this piece a lot. Your images are so breataking. Such a profound poem. Thanks for sharing. -Nik

Short and powerful... To the point and optimistic... Well written with a wonderful flow. :)Loved it!

"Thunderous clouds rain steel on the innocent.
drums of hate pound earth with vengeance in mind."

I made a decision not to comment on political poetry, but I had to make this exception because the strength and beauty of this poem is too great to ignore.
    Well done!

My parents were born in Lebanon and so was my Husband. I've never been there. I have heard it's beautiful though.

My husband has been through a lot when he was living there and what he tells me, scares me like mad
This poem is well written and so very vivid.

    The tormented volcano erupts.

Thunderous clouds rain steel on the innocent.
drums of hate pound earth with vengeance in mind.
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Steel rain? Oh that's ouch. It's like the buildings have been blown up and the steel from the buildings are coming down on everyone
The idea that the clouds themselves are carrying the vengeance is brilliant. As if to say that the clouds were not being controlled.

She Recites these words for creation to witness.
    I am an Arab....and this...is....my LEBANON.
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I do love the ending. A positive feel considering what the first lines were about.
    Powerful stuff!
