A Quarter 'Til

by Poet on the Piano   May 22, 2011

With this sea brushing us closer,
I fall onto your presence and rest
as raindrops grow strength
and we feel what freedom is left...
from a heated, thoughtless mind.

A quarter 'til- soon envelops me.
Soon my heart will reach out for you
among clouds causing bliss, [and this time]
I will break the horizon's entrance,
as we are [the source], burning like shifting suns.
