The wind and the red moon

by Dr sarat sonowal   Jun 7, 2011

With the solemn grace of night
came the wind and the red moon

standing by the window
on this summer delight
I feel the breath of a dying soul
caressing me
with the fingers of her eternal life

and then came the red moon
of the autumn
astonishingly so beautiful
bringing the smile that was eluding
to lift me and my soul

and here I am left surrounded
by the magical elements
The wind and the red moon

Wow I always find such nice works in the nature section. Your's is one of them. This piece is very nice. I like the flow of the words and how you have chosen just the right ones to express your emotions. I really like the title. In this section did you mean feel instead of fill?

I think that nature poems really bring out the true spirit of people, true feelings are easy to compare to nature. i find my love poems use a lot of nature to describe what I am or have felt now and in the past. Keep up the good works.
