I enjoyed the read but feel unsure what to make of this. I felt you had some good descriptions in this poem - for example:

    "Stems arched like
    Quasimodo"

but then again I found it hard to decipher what the poem was actually about. Of course I can make a guess and find my own meaning but it would of been nicer if you had been a little more open so that I could that I could of found your meaning and what the poem was to you. I realise that sounds nosey but I am sure you understand what its like when you read a poem and want to get a little more into the writers head.

Still overall a good poem and a good read

    4/5

WOW...am all in tears afte sending u a pm full ogf laughter!!
This poem reminds me of my "Saddest things about April" a lot.. when in my case spring no ;longer means the beauty after losing someone ...

and here I couldnt help but ache at the almost closing stanzas of this AMAzing, very descriptive and very well expressed poem!

your stanzas spoke of poetry that only comes with high quality, a real poetess...and I am touched Deepply mel..

    With June
    I wept for the imaginary.

^this alone speaks a lot..can u imagine someone weeping for imaginary ???! wow..
makes me think of an idea..very inspiring

    My armour rusted
    and a battlefield
    scattered with ambrosia;

    reminiscent of
    the times you would
    entwine your fingers
    with mine -
    holding me to
    a promise.

    ^^
thousands thousands of thought started to cry thought my head while reading this part..how
memories sometimes give us the perfect shiver...
    (perfect shiver)>good title ;) :P.
however these are sad sad lines... Love them

    Your scent was rain,
    and touch like
    autumn winds
    nibbling at my cheek.

    ^amazing description..of something that
no longer is what it once "was"..i can almost feel
    everything here...

    Your kiss would light
    even the dampest
    of forests on fire -
    ^
    MY GOD.,..very strong..what were u feeling
    when u wrote this..
    you are incredible

    Yet now spring
    stands before me
    - a battlefield.

    ^
that's what reminded me of my poem the best..a battlefield..oh yes!!
amazing mell..am out of words seriously
    .

    In all my bitterness
    I brushed coal against
    my cheeks,
    to find you gone.

    ^
    and this was heart breaking..
am just incredibly sinking into the mood of ur piece!!

SOMETIMES they say memories are gates for healing, and sometimes i think that memories sometimes makes it impossible to heaL!

    however..5/5 ofcourse 5/5...
