A Home for Willow's Love.

by Poet on the Piano   Jun 28, 2011

I saw her love reflected for me
between our shadows of yesterday
and a new sunrise that radiates,
strengthening the hope of the world.
Each breath flowed from her soul,
and I never knew how to be delicate,
for her heart was a raindrop
murmuring across my swaying hair.
I am now beginning to see what I came looking for.
Something more than a feeling.
Something more than a different reality.
Some place I would always know her true presence,
her memory running on through the wind's keys.
As we dangle our child-like feet
in brethren summer's water,
we are sheltered under the steadfast arm of love.
Every afternoon, time steps outside,
leaving us dwelling in intimate passion,
beneath an evening's golden arch.
There is always a spirit
awakening inside, watching over us.
