Behind Her Smile...

Behind this innocent smile,
Lies another feeling,
Behind this laughing girl,
Lies become healing.

She feels so selfish,
Act like she's insane,
Only to hide,
The depression and pain.

Tears seen neverending,
When no ones around,
False feelings stop working,
As she hits the ground.

Happy isn't real,
Just a fabricated lie,
Depression takes over,
She doesn't know why.

Lies almost perfect,
Yet sadness is still there,
She's so confused,
Why can't she care?

She isn't heartless,
Just hurting a lot,
Lies are easy,
When its all you've got.
