Fairytale

I fell in love with a fairy tale
So sweet and predictable to my lips
But Prince Charming always arrives too late
Learning me that love is just a four letter word

The truth is pressed to the back of my mouth
Convincing me it's not the right time to swallow
The tale turns to another nightmare as the dragon
Burn my skin into the bone and still leaves me cold

I thought we were close to our happily ever after
I was wrong because I'm just another princess
Locked in a tower without anything to live on
And I don’t think that my long hair will save me now
