Sprouts

by Stephanie Tangedahl   Jul 19, 2011

Walking, talking, grown-up mocking
Untied shoes and missing stalkings

Coughing, sneezing, falling, bleeding
Band aids, food and mommy needing

Sharing, caring, be unfairing
See the silly clothes we're wearing

Making friends of different colors
Never stopping to think or wonder

Growing up instead of down
Learning from the world around

Wishful, wantful, hopeful, needy
Wondering why we're all so greedy

Seeing, hearing, smelling, feeling
Dealt a deck we shouldn't be dealing.
