Invisible Worth

by Cinnamonspice   Aug 5, 2011

I am but a weed among the flowers
yet I lend green to the sea of color

A chunk of coal dull and rough
but pressed and polished I sparkle

Cloud of black covering the sun
rendering rain to hydrate the earth

Disgusting spider climbing your wall
feeding on the insects that annoy

Before you judge look deep into the
inner core you might find worth
