Time for Fall

by PinkyPrincess   Aug 29, 2011

The season has changed,
cold weather engulfs the heat.
The clouds conceal the sun,
the leaves are changing colors.

Distraught and weak,
like a falling leaf in the fall,
fading around the death of life,
lost in the loneliness of nature.

Surrounded by nothingness,
strong winds separate the leaves,
while they inevitably crush together;
silent except for the crisp breakage.

    Fall is my fav season, it has this warmth and mystery in it, which is translated beautifully through your poem. Every verse has its own deep meaning, and all together they play a symphony of emotions.

    Great job as always :)
