Letting Her Heart Talk to Her Head

Laying in bed with her heart pounding
after a session on her own,
Dreaming of the man she met
happy that her feelings had grown,

Its been so long and lonely here
now finding a man that will care,
So many failures came before him
is she ready to put her heart out there,

Will he love her for who she is
will he look deep inside,
will he love her for a lifetime
will he be like the others who have lied,

How will she know if this ones true
and loves her for her heart,
Taking a leap of faith has hurt
but faith brings a new start,

Time will tell if Love is in store
for this lonely woman in bed,
By taking a chance and believing
letting her heart talk to her head
