To do what you do

No matter how hard I try
Its never gonna be enough
I know that love isnt easy
But its not supposed to be this rough

Its arguments over love
And that just isnt right
I dont know what to do anymore
Im losing my will to fight

Jealousy acts committed
For no reason at all
Hades himself could beckon
And Id still ignore his call

Because of your past
You take it out on me
But after all that
Im still here, cant you see?

    Hello

    Yes love is hard work and hard work should be put into it, but at what point are you more miserable because of love? Surely that's the point that it no longer warrants the effort.

      Thank you. I actually wrote this when I was in my abusive relationship. He was controlling and always accusing me. Then it became violent and turned to sexual assault repeatedly for 4 years. But I'm glad to say ive been out of that relationship for over a year now and doing much better.

    People in our lived especially people we love do certainly have the power to destroy... you just got to figure out who is worth it but you cannot help who has the power it just is but i like this poem you express good.
