Soul Migration

by sibyllene   Sep 4, 2011

I had a dream once that was red, and gold,
and infinite shades of blue.
Blue of cresting waves, frothing into cornflower,
cerulean creasing the sky, the blue wink on the gills of a fish,
the color of the deep chill of the ocean.
Blue that damped the sun, and froze the peachy clouds, it was
the blue of your eyes, seen reflecting in those dusky rivers,
in those teal veins that clamber, spider-like, out of the
deepest navy shadows of my heart.

OH sib..just so you know that I kiss no asses and that I do love your work..it's you who I said this about their poem in the club's challenge...

Must be one of my favorite poems for me, the picture was breathtaking but the verse was just awe-inspiring, some of the most unique expressions ever! And even if I wanted to leave a critique on such a poem, I have no words left to express myself. Master piece, and very creative, I loved how you related the entire piece to his eyes, just incredible.

    ^^

except now, when I read your new poems, and saw this, and knew it was you, I just can't help but love it more and more...

    Amazing :)
