That Special Someone

Alone at heart is where I lay
Waiting for someone special everyday
Blinded by distresses I couldn't see
That special someone right in front of me.

Time passes at the blink of an eye
Never I imagined he was the guy
Letting go and following my heart
Made a decision, discreet and smart.

I can't imagine myself with anyone else
Glad I realized how I truly felt
Seeing the blessing that was placed upon me
Ready to travel the journey together into eternity.

    Wow! I love this... such a sweet romantic poem, that makes you feel good after reading. I like the idea of falling for someone who has always been in front of you, but never realized it... I think that's something many people can relate to and it's amazing how things turn out differently. Very cute poem! :)
