Hostage of Your Look

by Goran Rahim   Sep 11, 2011

If I was not a hostage of your look

Perhaps

I would have been

The happiest person of this town

Now

Arrested in your love

Everyday

I am in search of myself

Until sun sets down

At nights,

Thinking of you

I am awake

Staring at the wall,

Similar to my heart

I am thrown

As

Someone doesn't care at all.

It's a dfficult situation to be infatuated with someone that doesn't care. I like your clever wording and effectiveness of the poem.

Very well written! I enjoyed the form of the poem. It was sad, sweet and had rhythm. 5/5
