Forgive me,first love

by Yakari Gabriel   Sep 12, 2011

-forgive me,first love..

for yesterday I recollected
memories and threw them
in that corner of my mind
I almost never visit.

Forgive me,first love..
for no longer wanting
to feel your breast,
yes breast..
pressed against mine
while knowing our hearts beat
for different reasons.

forgive me,first love..
for deleting your number
from my cellphone,
for erasing your smell
from my clothes
and only keeping the voice notes..
If perchance,
I feel like hearing your voice.

OMG how come i never paassed by this!??

you know what yakz?? before few days me and my first love met not met but I saw him ....and we kind of talked ....and I felt the same old shiver....can you imagine??? I am not engaged and all...and still his voice moves everything within me and thats just...unbelievable.

I know a song in arabic for sure nana knows it its title is "lesh el 7ob el awal ma bierda yfare2na" in english "why does first ;love never leave us?" and its true because no matter how you move on, still you recall everything ....again and again and again.

this write was very well-done, something I can CLEARLY relate to......andddd five :)

^^ I agree....sometimes i still think about my first love, but it doesnt mean Im not over it...It feels great to move on and find peace and love in someone else that treats you right.

I thought this was a great idea for a poem and Im quite jealous I didnt think of writing to my ex as a way of moving on. I actually was hoping this poem would go on a little longer, but I still enjoyed the over all read love :)

I believe you always want to hear that voice again, even when you are over it. passion for old days and some sweet moments could always hunt you.

i love this because it is as though you spoke everything on your mind.
