"on a hot day their seed heads would, pop, pop, pop
    haphazard
to scatter like tiny specs of rice
    on the sunbaked ground."

I could've of swear that I left a comment on this poem before. I guess, I just read it and I forgot to click on submit. I really like it, the above part was my favorite because that one creates really good imagery. The seeds expanding or spreading everywhere without organization.

Wow! This flowed smoothly and I loved how you rhymed the first stanza. The imgery it paints in my eyes is so vividly created and leaves one in awe of nature.

You glorified nature with your vivaciou and radiant descriptions. The process in which plants grow as seedlings to crops, with all the pest and clad in the glow of sunshine as well. Very captivating and beaeutifully crafted.
I enjoyed feasting on this as my forte is penning and reading nature poems.
I believe the beauty in nature poems is the fact that they transcend our imaginations. What we can create just leaves one in appreciation of our pristine environs.

    Bon Trvall!

Wow, the imagery here is amazing and it's ashame that many of us destroy the beautiful nature we have instead of exploring it because nature is a beautiful thing.

    Great write, Em
