Can't let it go...

I look back on all my past heart aches,
all the chances I didn't take,
all the people who acted fake,
it's like i was living half awake,

If only i knew what i now know,
It would be easy to let you go,
I wouldn't have been so low,
I wouldn't have let my feelings show,

But there's no use living with regret,
wanting something you won't get,
wishing away people you've met,
remembering something you want to forget..
