You are still my dream...

Traveling down this lonely road
Not knowing where it will end
Thinking about the past few years
And losing my best friend

I begin to drift off into our world
Holding hands with sweet passion
I look over at your beautiful face
And can't help but notice, your astounding fashion

Your eyes sparkle in the dim light
Lighting up my whole world
I continue looking at you with a smile
As you give your beautiful hair a twirl

You lean in and whisper in my ear,
"Baby, you are so perfect"
As we drive to our favorite spot
Holding each other, watching the sunset

A tear rolls down and falls onto your shirt
"Please don't ever leave me, I'm yours"
I whisper back, "I will always be here,
And everything about you, I adore"

As we lay there together watching the sunset
Thunder roars and lightning flashes
Rain starts falling onto your amazing face
We sit there together, wishing the storm passes

All of a sudden I hear a car honk
And the flashes were his lights
I guess I shouldn't dream while driving
So I will go dream of you tonight...

    This is sweet, and quite simple. you did a great job with the imagery, as well as emotional description. I think how you.ended the piece was a very nice contrast.to how a lot of poems commonly end. Your pen, and you, are a magnificent team, because you never cease to amaze with your talent. Anyway, terrific job.
