MY HoLLY GOD! I have no idea how can you even have that magic to describe my emotions that that that much precisely with such metaphors..you nailed this,..I am speechless Jacey, you just killed me haha..

    I watched you -
    a heart of bereft love,
    through sullen winters
    and archaic summers,

    ^
this got under my skin..i just love the opening..so so so so true!!

    then autumn came along
piercing your last hopes with doubt,
'til the sun cast you 'neath her spell,
ginger spice swirling, scented with October
like cinnamon nestled in a sweet roll.

    ^

that was one of the smartiest verses ever written..October (when i met him, for those who dont know haha)..just fabulous imagination, perfect description for my case, my feelings, my life!

    He was the Indian summer
    she always wished for
    yet never got
    ...'til now.

    ^^^
he is..indeed.. :) never got, till now, true as well..

you have no idea what this poem means to me, i cannot believe, still cant and wont believe you wrote it, this, this way! not everyone will understand this poem, perhaps, but I want to thank you for writing me so perfectly in words!

i love you, and love it!
added to my fav for sure

It's been a while since reading your work. I can only say it's even better now than before.

You have evolved so much as a poet, Temps. It is great to see. :) I really enjoyed reading this. Don't have any critique, I loved it.

Good poem but still in your comfort zone get out of that zone and take a risk your poetry is becoming predictable
