Confessional

Christina walked rapidly towards the sound of church bells

She wore a one shoulder beaded silk dress with lace; hair in a bun

A capacious golden cross that rested between the crease of her breasts

She was ushered in by the most sweetest of nuns

She clutched her purse and sat with her legs crossed

Awaited her turn into the confessional stands

She walked in the room; shut the door

Gazed below and folded her hands

"Father, can you hear me" she said

He replied, "Yes, you may confess child"

Her heart fluttered she took a breath

Brainstorming to get her words compiled

She said, "Father I have committed a sin

I committed adultery with a married man."

She spoke in detail of her every action

Losing her mind as it ran

He said, "Child, Jesus loves you.

Just keep far from that path and forgiven you will be."

Spoken from a man that has sins piled from

The seven skies to the dead sea

A man that is made from flesh and bones

That was created and will return to dust

The same man Christina went to repent to

About her affairs of selflessness and lust

A man that may be pious but does not behold

The power to be All Merciful and Supreme

It's extreme that you make it seem that your in control

All apart of a dream-

God would not be stappled with nails

Pinned down and disgraced

He would not leave this world

To be such a miserable place

God would not have died for my sins

Rather why would he have created both heaven and hell?

Why should good and evil both have the same end?

Disobey God and in heaven you dwell?

I believe that as a sinful slave my creator

My sustainer is my only retreat when I fall astray

I know that his mercy is endless

His doors are open

Any time; any where- endless days
