It has been a while
Since Ive had a reason
To write about someone
Someone like you

It has been years
Since Ive had my hands shake
Shake at the sight of someone
Someone like you

It has been too long
Since Ive seen you smile
Someone who can take me apart
And, perhaps, mend my broken heart
