I wish I knew what exactly to say about this. I mean I like it, it is creative and an nice story, but that isn't saying much. This piece is amazing and the description is terrific. Excellent job, the title was intriguing and the piece itself was a nice read. 5/5

This reminds me of something I would see in a children's book, read as a child. I was always stuck with reading stories with good morals at the end, however none were so intriguing as this. This appealed to all the kids senses, and would've definitely kept me entertained. Hello, spearing people with branches? That would be wonderful to read as a child and still learn something. I like your arghing and kapowing, I thought that was fun. You have a way of adding odd things in poetry and making it smart.. like swashbuckling. Never even heard of that word before.

P.S - do you really have a lemon tree?

You do know how to paint a picture that's endearing and real with a touch of magic.

This made me smile and brought back many memories. I like that it reminds me of what love meant to us and how close we used to be although we fought a lot. I also like the wording and the flow is fantastic... :) Loved it!

I know I commented and nominated this one before I deleted my account but don't know if you read it so, I'll comment again.

This was simply beautiful and took me back to a time when children did not need computer games or fancy toys because they still had their imagination. Out in the fresh air all day long and only coming home when their bellies were empty and needed refueling, then...off again for more fun.

I loved the ending, seemed so fitting for this lovely verse.

Oh, to be a child once again..even if only in the mind for a fleeting moment..this is very good, Abracadabra.
