Winters Night

by believeinlove87   Oct 31, 2011

A winters night,
snowflakes falling outside,
firewood burning away,
hot chocolate in our mugs,
watching the kids make
snow angels.

Christmas tree in the corner,
presents wrapped underneath,
mistletoe hanging from the doorway,
gingerbread cookies in the oven,
vanilla candle filling the air,
giggling filling my ears.

Snow Fight yelled outside,
running to find cover,
getting hit with snow balls,
down the street snow man are
being built,
only smiles, no frowns,
enjoying the cold air.

A winters night,
spent with family & friends,
old stories are told,
cuddling up to our loved ones,
roasting marshmallows in the flames,
remembering these beautiful nights
together,
as the snowflakes fall outside.
