And the black presses in from all sides.

Suffocating me silently in the dark,

And plays cruel tricks with thoughts of my own.

Twisted into discoloured shades of their former reality,

Leading me ever further from the light.

A kiss from you is the star that guides me back.

It relieves the pounding pressure,

And soothes the incessant narrative in my head.

It quells the anger,

And lets me breath smoothly for once.

You may on occasion set me back a little

But everything works out in the end

Because I love you :)
