Foxy

by Captain Lonesome   Nov 12, 2011

Waking to my auburn fur glowing
Under the orange sun now showing
My stealth immerges out of the fallen leaves
And I lick dirt off my little black sleeves

I see a mouse that just stopped running
Now it is time to be quick and cunning
Slowly then quickly I sneak then pounce
Small little mouse but a tasty little ounce

As I go out today to get my usual kicks in
I spot and gaze upon the most beautiful vixen
She sits atop a bank made out of shale
As I strut by I show off my lovely fluffy tale

We now live happily in a cozy warm den
Us and our children making a family of ten
We are happy, me and my lady fox named Roxy
It might not have been, if I wasn't so foxy
