She is my best friend

by Someonethere   Nov 19, 2011

My best friend.
My best,
Innocent,
Silent,
Best friend.

She fell,
She fell hard in the same spiral,
As the others.

The scars on her arms, rnrnAre there to prove it,
She is already down,
Into that lane.

Depressed at heart,
Faking happiness,
Smiling each day,
Crying to sleep every night.

Abstract thoughts on paper,
She showed me,
My heart crushing,
As I read lines about self harm.

Sadness filled my senses,
Anger filled my brain,
Pity filled my heart,
And nervousness filled my body.

Unbearable thoughts,
Of loosing her,
Or even the thought,r
Of her hurting.

Questions are going on and on,r
In my confused mind,
Helping is an idea,
But how to help an already destroyed,
Precious teenage girl?

Hatred against the source of her problems,
I think of what to do,
I simply can't understand,
It's normal,
Since I don't have that life.

Furious against the whole world,
I just write this poem,
Hoping someone will be listening,
Because I'm not listening to myself.

Another, beautiful write. I must say, i am in love with your writing, haha.

    When you said
    "She falled,
She falled hard in the same spiral,
    As the others."
I think you meant to put "She fell, she fell hard in the same spiral as the others."
Just a little grammar help. (:

    "The scars on her arms,
    Are there to prove it,
    She is already down,
    Into that lane.

    Depressed at heart,
    Faking happiness,
    Smiling each day,
    Crying to sleep every night."

This is a great way to put this.
So many of us seem to struggle with depression/self-harm/suicide these days.

This poem so beautifully written, just like your others. I'm excited to read more from you. (:
