Capture

by Beautifully Disfigured   Dec 2, 2011

I have spent my whole life lying in this bed at night
I stare at my ceiling thinking of all the beautiful things in the world
I think of love and how it seems so unreal and far out of my reach
(and then you walked into my life)
Now I lay with you and watch as the time passes by
And as I lay here tracing patterns across your chest
I realize just how lovely it is to have you in my life
(and this feeling keeps arising)
So I can not help questioning what this feeling is
I can not help feeling like I have never truly loved before
I can not help feeling that at any moment I may discover what love is
(and you laugh softly beside me
and that laugh draws me in so tightly
that laugh that could capture my soul
and I think that this could be the moment
but for now I feel no need to know)
