Cheats and Lies

The girl is my best friend for life
And the guy is my only true lover
They had a secret they shared
That I soon uncovered.

She was a beautiful young woman
I was always so jealous of
He was a handsome young man
That I truly loved.

But what I thought was always
Too good to be true
Finally hit reality
With the two of you.

He always held me
So tight in his arms
And told me he loved me
With his sneaky little charms.

He always had me believe
That I was his only one
He made me feel so special
And as bright as the sun.

She was my closest friend
That I trusted with my life
She was there through my bad times
Taking away the knife.

She has this shine about her
And never let anyone get her down
She always walked with her head held high
Only I have seen her frown.

My best friend and my lover
Both very important to me
Yet such good liars
That, I can guarantee.

His words were all a lie
And her friendship was nothing real
My hatred in them grew
I had nothing left to feel.

She was a two-faced back stabber
That was now pregnant with his kid
He doesn't talk to me anymore
And I just went off and hid.

    I will appologize for the comment that I will write because I've been through this: DON'T let morons ruin your life, sure friends are fake as hell at times, but don't let it destroy your faith in friends. Life is full of s*** and we have to keep our heads up like that backstabber but don'to worry you will heal and love again 5/5

    Oh how much emotion was in this poem.

    I felt saddened by it as this has got to be one of the worst things that can happen to you in a relationship

    I felt angry reading it at your lover and your best friend. Forgive me for saying I wanted to slap them both.

    I am sorry that you went through this. You wrote this so well I felt every word

    someday you will realize you really cant trust anybody.. i learned sooner than later, Haha.
