Bleeding Heart

by Xionide   Dec 21, 2011

A heart beating is a heart that can be fixed
When broken, over time it heals itself
Waiting with caution expecting the unexpected
Ready for the day it starts all over again
Piece by piece little by little, it mends.

Each scar on the outside, a costly reminder
I've walked a road so painful it destroys lives
Yet it beats, although broken, it does not want
Nor does it complain, a simple reminiscence
That feeds it each beat it takes, a reminder...

Although used withdrawn and heavy, it smiles
The pain inside is but a willingness
It's fuel, like a drug, damage is done
Yet it craves the high it brings with each pump
Coursing the veins, it's like acid that tickles

My heart is my own, it has bled a thousand tears
Broken, and beaten, it's faithful to me
Why so much trouble I hear you wonder?
The answer is simple, its simple but true,
It doesn't belong to me, it belongs to you.

Very very deep and personal, only someone who went through the same thing can really relate to it. Your words and the sencerity of your feelings was displayed so vividly.

Yup, they said that you are so talented, now I know what they meant.

Keep on writing with the same true passion you have.

    Loved it ...
