Sick of Being Sick

by Angelica   Dec 21, 2011

I've been ill lately,
My heart is cold and heavy
Like an icebox, I'm frozen
Unable to go left or right
Because either one I chose never feels right.
And I despise with my cold heart,
The very truth the sets us apart
I've been tired lately.
I feel stiff, speaking inflexibly.
Yet my emotions are like strings
You control them, like a puppet.
And Guess what? (Rhetorically)
I've been sick lately.
And I'm sick of being sick.
