From a Tear's Point of View

by Owner of an Untamed Heart   Jan 2, 2012

I'm a clear tear
I've been here before
I know her cherry blossom scented fingers
I've damply hit the cold floor
every time you abandon her
every time you don't call
when she can't help herself
it's my job to fall

when she's lost in her own despair
and drowning in her own sorrow
I'm there to stumble down her cheeks
today, tonight, and tomorrow
your love bare from her heart
has my work cut out for me
instead of coming from her eyes now
I've been promoted to the heart to bleed
