Beneathe Desire & Quill Fancy

by Mario Vitale   Jan 3, 2012

In ardent Spring laughter buds a new

Desire through certain fantasy abstraction & show
An impossible way to inflate the common ego,
In heart felt sentiment one can reflect;

A shoulder to cry and a thoughtful passerby
In sudden urge to contemplate & reflect
On a bed of nails she had me lay
Humble times at which to bow the knee to pray;

In stolen regard to relent toward victory,

Caught between a timeless key of sobriety;

Deep within they want to see you bleed
As a decorated cage where animals torment;
In hot sore vex desire;
Shattered dreams to place the quill in want for more

Yet for what I do not know?
