Rushed Destiny

by PinkyPrincess   Jan 5, 2012

Time is flying quickly,
faster than I can cope with.
Everything is escalating
and pulling me along.

The sense of urgency
gives me goosebumps.
Shaking from the cold,
yet inevitable truth.

Dancing in this whirlwind
of naivete and uncertainty,
hoping for a ringing sign,
still waiting patiently.

As I follow the fresh footsteps,
I try not to allow any hesitation.
The path is a beauty and an enigma,
but it's the destination that counts.

Can we stop and breathe
so we can collide sensibly?

Excellent , I couldn't pick a favorite stanza if I had too. It was good from beginning to the end.

/The path is a beauty and an enigma,
// it's the journey, the path and the experience that makes reaching thedestination all the more delighful

    LOVED THAT!
    It's such a powerful piece
    and I felt I should've really taken a breath.

It amazed me, really.. with the end, I hope we could stop for a sec and take a breathe in this race.. though I don't know where exactly we're heading.
