Comments : Rushed Destiny

I was lured to read this poem because of your title. I am guilty of trying to "rush destiny" so i was curious to see how the poem would play out. I am so happy I read it! It was something I could wholeheartedly relate to.

    "Everything is escalating
    and pulling me along."
^I feel like that sometimes too. Like everything is just happening so fast around me and I am just along for the ride as a spectator.

    "Dancing in this whirlwind
    of naivete and uncertainty,"
^My favorite part of the poem. I liked how contradicting dancing and whirlwind were here. I correlate dancing with freedom and expression...whereas a whirlwind is hectic and chaotic. I liked how you expressed yourself here. I imagined it clearly in my mind.

"but it's the destination that counts. "
^What leads up to the destination is so much more important because thats when you learn and grow wiser. The turbulence you face and hurdles you jump are what build your character.

I really enjoyed the ending. It was a great way to finis the poem, especially in a question. Leaves the reader wondering and attempting to provide an answer. I really enjoyed reading this!

A five and nomination from me.

Well first off I love the title. I love how the title basically gave away the whole poems topic. If u had one line only the title describes perfectly what this is about...

The path is a beauty and an enigma
But its the destination that counts
    ^^^
That just makes me think. Its so true...sometimes we can get distracted on how nice a path is, but not always will it lead us to the proper destination..

This was a great poem as per usual girl!

    LOVED THAT!
    It's such a powerful piece
    and I felt I should've really taken a breath.

It amazed me, really.. with the end, I hope we could stop for a sec and take a breathe in this race.. though I don't know where exactly we're heading.

    /Dancing in this whirlwind
    of naivete and uncertainty,
    hoping for a ringing sign,
// these are my favorite lines.

We often feel time flies and sometimes it gives to me goosebumps too that i might miss something on the way.

/The path is a beauty and an enigma,
// it's the journey, the path and the experience that makes reaching thedestination all the more delighful

    /Can we stop and breathe
    so we can collide sensibly?
// this was very thoughful ... perfect ending. rushing through life we have forgotton what it feels to stop and smell the roses :)

Excellent , I couldn't pick a favorite stanza if I had too. It was good from beginning to the end.
