With each drop brings a splash

by Harrison   Jan 12, 2012

With each drop brings a splash

The gentle breeze strokes my face
Caressing my skin with its cold silk hands
The fall of rain blanketing me
Holding me tightly in its folds of water
The hollow fog shields my eyes
Keeping me safe with layers of white
The moon gives sight with each passing cloud
Singing to me softly with the sounds of night
The stars greet me with glowing smiles
Whispering to me freely the secrets of the sky
The trees wave to me in silence with each blowing gale
Surrounding me closely blocking out the wind

But now the breeze grows hard
Clawing at my face with its sharp talons
The rain turns to hail stripping me bare
Dampening my soul in its eternal fall
The fog thickens and clouds my eyes
Sealing off my path in its waves of gloom
The moon clouds over , blackening the night
Sending me amidst in its forever darkness
The starts begin to fade , masking my bearings
Leading me blindly into the mist a head
The trees creak and grown deafening my ears
Then crash to the ground corrupting my path

I like the way you have set the scene which was very descriptive that it takes the reader into that lovely place. Then it ends with the change of weather disturbing the serenity..enjoyed this read :)
