Tales from the Cider side

by david hollas   Jan 15, 2012

The cider it was winning,
The aliens were too.
I decided to try drinking wine
and watching winnie the pooh!

Things are getting worse now,
I don't know where to turn.
Strong spirits are an option,
Will I never learn?

The demons in my head
won't let me get to sleep.
So i'll get a bottle of rum
and into that i'll creep.

One day soon i'll see the darkness
and then i'll close my eyes.
Lay down for the big sleep
When its beddy byes!

This was written for Luanne. I hope she is still around.
