Dehydration

by Maple Tree   Jan 16, 2012

I am nothing, but a ruby in a cloud
shimmering in a mirrored mist
of moisture and romantic illusions
drain me lover...
I desire to be a desert
rather be kissed a thousand times
burning in the sun
left to die in your arms
known as a pebble in the wind
I am nothing, without your love
raining on you
drink me
dehydrate me slowly....

-Jaw drops- That is Heavy, Maple. Wow. Deep and Heart-felt, Insightful and impacting. You display your love intensely through your poetry, definitely this one! I really like this. It's dramatic and I like how you used creative symbolism!
