Seeking love...

She walks around always looking for love,
wondering if it is her that will finally be happy,
lying awake at night holding her pillow,
whispering, "Prince charming, please find me"

He sits at his job, wishing he could find her,
staring at the blank screen in front of his face,
hoping to one day fall in love again,
someone to fill his heart's empty space.

Two distant strangers, both seeking love,
will cupid finally bring them together,
or is their love not supposed to be?
Only time will tell if it's meant to be forever.

    This is so true an so me but everyone searches and some give up and its really a complicated mess and not like the movies,,longing for the day to find what is rare an true, growing old together and only so few find their love,,great write Mattie I loved it an excellent write. :) 5/5

    Always such sweet and touching poems, Cupcake.
    Just one question at the end of the poem where you write "or is there love not supposed to be?" Is that like is there not supposed to be love for them? Or is their love not supposed to be?

    Just a slight grammatical question, dear.
