Woodland Soul Dance

by Maple Tree   Jan 21, 2012

As I gaze upon a tree of old
its aura draws me near
pulsating wind chimes
play a woodland song
that my heart cannot deny
softly, I allow my body
to be embraced within
strong, magnetic limbs
slowly dancing as one soul
feeling a timber's heartbeat
intertwining with mine
breathless entities are we
this ole tree and me....
