The Little Things

by Scrittore   Feb 1, 2012

It's not in the days that pass us by
Oft too quickly for us to see
Not in the time that goes on fleeting
Tempting the seconds to just simply be

It's not the minutes in a hour
Nor the bright lit summers day
Or the embers from once a blazing fire
As slowly they die away

When time has turned and stopped
For a moment will you find
That life's great joys are often
The memories of the smallest kind

    A blissful poem....!!
I kind of got inquisitive to find out what was the bottom-line of this poem and till I reached that part,I went through great and sweet sentences with a great flow and just beautiful...!!

I loved the way you kept telling about those pettiest of moments of minutes, seconds and hours giving us finally nothing but the heart of life which is the blissful moments to be cherished then life long....

    Good write...:)

I love how you worded the poem. It is true that it is the little things that are what keeps you going...

This is so beautiful. I loved this. :) I'm currently watching my daughter sit calmly on the couch watching tv. Makes me appreciate all the little things in life.
