    You are most welcome Ang! I loveeeee your writing and you have posted in a year I just couldnt let that happen any longer lol...

    As for this piece, I wanted you to write but not on this subject!! This poem had tears well up right away in my eyes!!..my moms 50th bday is next week and Im more emotional than her about it...

    Walks with mom, now wheelchair bound...ughhhh Heart wrenching!!...

    Life truly does fly by and poems like these are just reminders to slow down, make each day count and spend as much time with the ones you love as possible..

    I love how you incorporated nature into this piece as well, you have always done a nice job with that!!

    Loved this soooo happy you are back!!

    I found this breathtaking .
    I am a big fan of the connection between us as beings and nature. The link is stronger than most realize. So bringing human emotion bonding with natures blessings made for a nice read..

    excellent

    Beautiful poem that took me now the memory lane

    I loved how you set the mood of the poem with daisly blankets and lus moss.
    //
    gazing up at a deep blue sky
    littered with fluffy fun shaped clouds
    like a butterfly, memories flutter in my mind
    of treasured years long gone by
    // loved the imagery here where memories in shape of clouds pass by :D

    /hopscotch, tag and jumping rope
    games played with siblings now adults

    // that made me smile. I used to play jumping rope too and it was so much fun. you are making me miss my friends. :)

    //soft midnight whispers in the dark
    singing, dancing, acting like nuts

    // I just loved the way you said soft whispers ... indeed they were ... beautifully described. Acting like nuts, yeah :D\

    /tears glisten on these old sun kissed cheeks
    watching those precious memories of mine
    float on by in that beautiful big blue sky
    //
    This is exactly how I feel sometimes. You have expressed it brilliantly. The imagery you painted here is again beautiful ... with a hint of longing and sadness.
    overall a lovely write up.

    Oh so loving this piece of yours (oh yeah and i miss your stuff too)...if you remember i'm not the best commenter..not one to criticize...i truly enjoyed the rhythm and flow that i felt was effortless on your part..if you made me criticize one part..it would be the "turkyish part", that threw me off a bit..but other than that as it was way too long ago since i've been on here...most impessed, and was a pleasant read indeed...
