Eternal rest of a Sparrow

by Maple Tree   Feb 7, 2012

I've fallen within the depths of silence
Cascading in tunnels, consumed in ash
Leading my senses on a journey unknown
Evergreen moss dangles from a stone marker
"Oh precious spirit, speak to me as I honor you"
Vertically positioned limbs rest, "I'll greet thee soon"
Fingertips plunge within sacred soil, blind feeling the blind
"Don't you miss the way we were" whispers in auras rainbow
Cemetery alcoves has united us again, breath upon breath
Eternally finding our way home, dawn returns
Another blessed morning rises as the sparrow rests in peace....

Welp you have done it again, you have worded nature so beautifully that you have came up with yet, another masterpiece.

"Vertically limbed" <--- that was awesome!
Great detail in this piece and between the amazing wording, you find a sad mysterious story!

    'Hmmm', was my response to this piece. It's mysterious, in my opinion, enchanting and dark. I like the detail, it painted images perfectly - especially with these last lines;

Eternally finding our way home, dawn returns
Another blessed morning rises as the sparrow rests in peace....

    ooooh! o.o
    Great piece, Maple!
