    Wow hun; this is powerful!

    I love it. Trying so hard to understand why you can't hear and understand him when you hear the rain drops. You can visualize this as its you in it.

    Meme,,, wow:

    Choking with my own words;

    ^ I think it's 'choking on my words'

    I stood there disenabled, but you
    were fluently speaking the most
    powerful language ever known
    -Silence.

    ^ This part is so damn amazing!!! I didn't expect the 'silence' .

    I felt my heart went heavy at the end. great one:)

    Oh Meme, Meme, Meme,
    I don't know what to sayyyy??

    This choked me, This made me feel so vulnerable,
    I have many things that I could think this is based on,

    Life,
    Cutting,
    Love (Though this one seems rather far fetched becuase its in the dark section)
    Depression,
    Alcohol

    There is so much emotion here, I think anyone could relate in one way or another

    The ending blew me away!!!

    What I was wondering about was, how did you come up with this idea of using 'Silence' to convey the simplest of message 'Missing You'. I'm speechless as to what words to best use to compliment this exquisite piece. Very hypnotic. You're an ace poet Meme, ;-) Mashallah!!!

    Wow!! This poem is amazingggg!!! First, the title was great, I love your use of the word "cataclysmic" (I had to look it up to be sure of the definition lol).

    I really loved it, not just the way you wrote this, but also the topic... I really believe silence is so powerful, it can be more powerful than words. Someone can say sooooo much with their silence... and I love how you wrote about this. It really affected me because I understood what you were trying to convey.

    Love this stanza:

    "Choking with my own words;
    I stood there disenabled, but you
    were fluently speaking the most
    powerful language ever known
    -Silence."

    >>> silence really is the most powerful language!!

    This poem was brilliant! Great job hon!!

    We must ultimately be confounded by the inability of words to express true emotions. Words are for thoughts; we use them as poor stand-ins for the things that grab us by the guts and move us profoundly.

    Here you have captured both the failing of words and the power of non-verbal communication in your encounter.

    "why cant I listen to what you say"
    Indeed, your refusal to accept the message unspoken is the heart of the issue, for when you recognize the power of silence on his part, you also feel the harsh impact you sought to avoid.
    He "magnetized [your] breath" meaning he polarized you with his quiet demeanor which nonetheless exuded raw emotional power, unseen, yet inescapable.

    You have mastered the complete simile, using a single metaphor and developing it throughout the poem. Consistent and complex. Well done.
