After life

Energy can't be destroyed,
there's energy to your soul!
Your body can pass through the dust of earth,
But your spirit keeps control.

For the power to create "effect" is ours,
If the mind projects pure truth.
Conjured from the spoken word at hand,
with faith, it's amazing what can move.

Don't be afraid there's "no after life,"
less you believe it into being.
for when you die on this great earth,
it's knowledge that keeps you seeing.

So choose what to learn, but be aware,
with the agency that you choose.
Remembering that you'll never win,
if you're expecting that you'll lose.

    I have to agree- this is one powerful piece with an inspirational message. The simplicity of the words made me want to read more. The relaxed tone of the narrator also is a factor in making this a good read. Also, the rhymes were really nice here, it added to the sort of peaceful atmosphere. Great job. Keep writing

    It's great, it has my mind spining with thoughts... the last two lines
    "Remembering that you'll never win,
    if you're expecting that you'll lose."
    you should make into a quote.
