He Wants My Heart

by Owner of an Untamed Heart   Feb 11, 2012

I don't just only befriend shadows sometimes
nowadays outside my window, a stranger lurks at night
from the curve of his smile to his blazing red eyes
it sets off a dangerous vibe that burns inside
if only he could touch me
so my skin could sting against his
if only he set a deep sensation to my lips

but how can he promise to love me completely
if he's a man without a harmonic heartbeat
and the smell of my paper cut spends him on a frenzy
he may disappear at the 1st sight of the morning light
but he always comes back for this heart of mine

although his words are all so kind
I can't get past the fact that he's immortally alive
the darkness of his wings does tantalize
as dim and mysterious as the middle of the night
if only I had an imperishable spirit
so we could run away and live together
but I just don't know if I wanna live forever

I know deep down he wants me in his arms
so he could squeeze me almost breathless
I see it in his eyes he lusts for my heart
but being with him is all too reckless

so he can't hope to adore me ultimately
if he's not even a man cause of no heartbeat
the aroma of my vital fluid drives him crazy
he may leave at the appearance of the morning light
but he always comes back for this heart of mine
