Vanilla Sky

by Maple Tree   Feb 12, 2012

I manipulated the stars, In desperate fashion
braided ebony locks, allowing them to dazzle
drenched our silhouettes In sighs, disguised as Vanilla.

Cascading fingers danced upon pulsating veins
forbidden rose petals laced within each kiss
gravitating you slowly upon a molded invitation.

Plummeting my soul deep into intoxicated sensations
a drunken sky exploded wtihin each breath stolen
tonic upon tongue danced as night made love to dawn....

I'm overwhelmed with the beauty of the words that conveyed the tasty vanilla through the wonder of nature. Your a prolific poet with a very unique style. Your gift of matchmaking words is very adorable. You inspire me with your poems. God bless you always. :-).
