Sorry for the Delay

by Tangerine   Feb 16, 2012

Mrs. x,
you see I'm really going to change your beddings
But another patient needs blood sugar checking
There's only me and there are ten of you
Although it's not time to say this yet
I'm sorry in advance
for whatever delay we would have today.

Mr. Y,
I am going to massage your cold arm
But another patient needs a tepid sponge bath.
It doesn't mean I'm putting you last on the list
But I have to attend to more serious cases first.
I'm sorry in advance
for whatever delay we would have today.

I wish I could be at two places in one time,
just to prove that all of you are equal in my eyes.
But I've got only two hands, and a pair of tired aching feet.
I try my best to give you quality care,
although the quantity of patients
sometimes I could not bare.
SO this I say to all of you again,
I'm sorry in advance
for whatever delay we would have today.

Very nice. You are only one person, you do the best you can. When you become overwhelmed at times, take a silent moment and pray, it does help, it used to help me
