Reading your poem Karla and then reading the translation for the word Saudade, I can really see the connection between the two.

The emotions are so deep for longing for happiness and when you said that it falls dead at your feet, I was moved and heartbroken by the words

    Brilliant poem hun as always

Your poems are full of depth and strong messages. I love your magnificent creativity of making the reader consumed into the subjects position. Making one feel the impact of each word and relating to each stanza as well.

It's very saddening to lost a dear one but that's the circle of life. Birth and Death go hand in hand though death is abrupt, leaving one in lonsome and pain for long.

Yearning for that which can't be found is quiet a waste of thought but the idea of it, relaxes and satisfies ones desire. It's an unreal delusion but one finds it hard to overcome the urge to stop craving thus getting handful of depression and anxiety and punishing the heart for something that can't be attained in the radius of earth.

A very thoughtful theme and very much relatable, you inspire me, Cheers! :-).
